Les Libellules was originally a small stone-built farmhouse and was owned by the same family for at least 200 years. We bought the property in early 2002, and named it after the beautiful dragonflies which are regular garden visitors in the summer. The detached house stands in its own large garden, and is quietly situated just outside the main centre of the village. Situated 20 minutes from medieval Carcassonne, with its quaint, narrow, cobbled streets, open-air market, and magnificent walled citadel, film set for Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves. Flights direct to Carcassonne are available from Stansted, Liverpool and East Midlands with Ryanair, or into Toulouse with Flybe.
