Carcassonne Cottages - Les Coquelicots - Walks in the Area

Walk 1 at Cuxac Cabardes - Direct from the cottage door a walk of about 4 km contains a steady but 0.5 km climb at the start.

Walk 2 at Aragon - Walk leads directly from the car park, mostly level walking

Walk 3 along the Canal du Midi - Walk or hire a cycle from Carcassonne (more information at the cottage)

Walk 4 at Pradelles-Cabardes - a circular and level walk of about 3 kms, nice on a hot day as is partly shaded and up in the mountains

Walk 5 at St Denis Lake - A 30 minute level circular walk around the lake.

Walk 6 at Laprade Lake - a circular and level walk around the lake of about 5 kms
