Round and about in the village.

		Cuxac-Cabardes is a mediaeval village with twisting narrow streets and sandstone coloured  buildings, rising behind the church.
	The village lies in a small valley in the foothills of the Montagne Noire, the most southerly point of the Massif Centrale.
Although small, it has a general store, bakery, chemist, hairdresser and post office, as well as a school, doctor, estate agent and a lawyer.
	There are several restaurants around the area as well as a great range in Carcassonne.
	Or, for a real flavour of rural France, why not join in one of the many community events advertised in the village.
